Grand gestures with a side of cheese—just the way you like them. Apparently, crazy elaborate gestures of love aren't only found in your favorite Julia Roberts-Richard Gere movie. Seriously, some real-life dudes actually think up super dorky yet sappy sweet ways to show their baes how much they adore them. But don't take our word for it. Check out the grand plans these gentlemen made to show their love to their ladies. Then ask your man why he doesn't do more stuff like this—or just be really thankful he doesn't.The Guy Who Bought His Girlfriend the Most Romantic Date EverIsaac McKenzie from the U.K. doesn't consider himself a romantic guy, but he wanted to show his girlfriend of five years just how much he cared, he told the Leicester Mercury, a U.K. newspaper. So he pulled out the big guns and hired a professional date planner to create the most romantic walk in the park—ever. He and Tiffany Wright, the owner of the company that personalizes romantic dates for couples, took two months planning the event, according to the newspaper. The date started out as your average cute walk through a London park. But then strangers began handing Isaac's girlfriend, Demi, little love notes in glass bottles. An iPod also started playing a song written just for her, and strangers opened several heart shaped umbrellas with the words "I love you" written on them. "It was awesome. We've been together five years and she always says I'm not romantic enough," Isaac told the Leicester Mercury. Money can't buy you love, but it can buy you the title "super romantic guy."RELATED: This Husband's 61st Anniversary Gift to His Wife Is the Sweetest Thing EVERThe Guy Who Spent Three Years ProposingSinger Michael Franti used his music-making skills to create a song for his beloved. Okay, so this is not crazy over the top, but stick with us. The idea behind the song was that it would be played at their wedding. So for three years the musical man shot videos of his girlfriend and compiled them into a beautiful film featuring his future wedding song, according to his YouTube page. During a surprise dinner for her in Bali, he strummed the tune on his acoustic guitar while showing her the video. Toward the end, an image of a gorgeous engagement ring flashed on-screen, and Franti got down on one knee to officially ask her to be his wife. Squee! Just try not to cry while watching the video.RELATED: This Man Interrupted an NFL Game to Propose to His GirlfriendThe Guy Who Traveled Thousands of Miles for LoveAfter his girlfriend jokingly challenged him to come visit her while she traveled through Austrailia for six months, this sweet British dude named Jack harries spent more than 25 hours traveling to get to her in Australia—just in time for her birthday. And since this movie-worthy gesture was so, um, movie-worthy, the man filmed the whole thing for YouTube. Check out her epic reaction to his surprise. Ahhh, to be young and in love.  The Boyfriend Who Time Traveled for His LadyTo celebrate their four-year anniversary, Wan, a Chinese wedding photographer, edited himself into a bunch of his girlfriend's childhood pictures and posted them on the Chinese social networking site Weibo, according to the Daily Mail. The idea behind the snaps was that he wanted to send a love letter to the younger version of his girlfriend. So he cropped himself into photos to depict himself as part of some of her earliest memories, like hugging stuffed animals and feeding pigeons on a park bench, according to the U.K. publication. Slightly weird? Yes. Totally cheesy and cute? Absolutely. RELATED: The Reason This Couple Is Getting Married Again Is the Definition of LoveThe Man Who Made Movie MagicIn a world where simply popping the question isn't enough to show your future life partner just how much she means to you, one man came up with something better. Thomas from Lagos, Nigeria, created an epic movie preview, which appeared while his future fiancé sat with her friends waiting for their flim to start. At the end of the preview, he enters the theater and pops the question. And she says yes!
