Our family first decided to honor our Lord with a live nativity in 1992, and the tradition is still going strong. My daughter Bonnie, her husband, Ken, and all the grandchildren and great-grandchildren participate. I made the costumes for the kings, shepherds, angels, and Mary and Joseph.
We include our farm animals and light up our houses, barns and lawns for about one city block.
Bonnie and Ken open up their farmhouse to anyone who wants to come in for hot chocolate or a snack. About 1,000 people visit each year.
