Memorial Day vs. Veterans Day vs. Patriot Day
People often confuse Memorial Day with Veterans Day, but Memorial Day is a day to honor those who died in battle or as a result of wounds sustained in battle, according to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, whereas Veterans Day—November 11—honors everyone who served honorably in the military.
